My name is Mat Hoffman, President of the IBMXFF (International BMX Freestyle Federation). I organize and invite the athletes to the ESPN X-Games competitions. I also founded and own Hoffman Bikes and rode as a professional BMX freestyle athlete for over 25 years.
I would like to share my thoughts about the living BMX legend Dave Voelker. To put it short, Dave Voelker is BMX! The success of BMX was planted in the roots Dave has fostered throughout his career. I have had the honor and opportunity to work with Dave while building some of the most successful shows throughout my career. For example, Dave's talent helped create a show of mine that he starred in at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. For 5 years this show had the highest ratings that Universal Studios had ever seen. This was a direct result of Dave's professional attitude and unparalleled stage presence and deliver. Dave Voelker is the best all-around performer our sport has ever seen and he continues to progress and shine to this day. I can't endorse Dave "The Lord" Voelker enough. If you're looking for someone who can deliver your audience more than you ever thought possible, even single-handed, he's your man. - Mat Hoffman |
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the BEST performance our community has ever experienced! This was by far, the most memorable event The Jacumba After School Program has ever had! I have never seen so many of our youth come together for one event and get along as well they did. This event really made our community come together as one, which hasn't happened in a long time. Your guys went above and beyond my expectations. It was obvious that they were not in it for the money.
Each and everyone of them had A LOT of heart! They stayed and signed everything from skateboards and bikes to guitars and shirts. They stayed and ate hotdogs with our community volunteers and parents and taught our youth tricks on their bikes and skateboards. Each and everyone of your guys inspired these kids and gave them something to believe in. Due to our location and situations of a lot of youth, this is something they would have never had an opportunity to see other than on TV. I could NEVER thank you enough! In the 13 years we have been producing Action Sports Shows, I have not come across another athlete who represents such an elite standard of professionalism. Without question Dave is one of, if not the best BMX show athletes in the sports history, not to mention his amazing competition career. Whether it's a major stadium event, or a small school show, Dave brings passion, electricity and star power to the venue. But not only is his performance unmatched, his PR skills with the audience and his obvious love of the sport is unmatched. The audience falls in love with him both as an athlete and a person, and in the entertainment industry that is a very rare combination. I can't give a higher recommendation, if you're fortunate enough to get him to your event you will witness a true BMX Legend and the world's greatest BMX Performer!

Dear Dave,
I went to your show on the 4th of July at Kings Dominion and I wanted to let you know that before I went to that show I sat on my butt doing nothing. My mom told me that at 14 I should be active and she took me to your show and you inspired me to become a BMX rider.
